Effective 16 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Fitly for the Fitly mobile app, its API and its AI-assistant connector (together, "Fitly"). By creating an account or using Fitly you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Fitly.
Fitly provides general wellness and coaching information — calorie and macro targets, training suggestions, habit tracking, nutrient estimates — calculated from what you enter and log. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any medical condition and is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional.
Talk to a professional before making significant changes to your diet or training, and especially if you are pregnant, under 18, have an eating disorder or a medical condition, or take medication that affects diet or exercise. Stop and seek help if you feel unwell. You use Fitly's suggestions at your own judgement and risk.
Some features (food estimates from photos or text, habit drafting, exercise photo recognition, and anything your own AI assistant does through the connector) use machine-learning models. Their output is an estimate and can be wrong — a portion size, a calorie count, an exercise name. Review it before you rely on it; Fitly shows every estimate for you to check before it is saved.
If you connect Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant through Fitly's MCP connector, that assistant reads and writes your Fitly data on your instruction, under its provider's terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for what you ask it to do with your account.
Do not use Fitly to break the law, to interfere with the service or other people's accounts, to probe or overload the API, to scrape it, or to submit content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share (this includes screenshots you attach to bug reports). Fitly may suspend or close an account that does.
What you log stays yours. You give Fitly permission to store and process it to run the service for you — and for nothing else. How Fitly handles personal data, including how to export or delete it, is in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
The app, its design, exercise library, nutrient reference data and models are Fitly's or its licensors' (nutrient values come from USDA FoodData Central, which is public domain). You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices. Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows.
Fitly is provided as it is and as it is available. It may be unavailable, change or end features without notice, though we will try to tell you about anything significant. Logs kept on a device without an account are only on that device; Fitly cannot recover them.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Fitly is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for injury or health outcomes arising from following its suggestions, or for loss of data, and its total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid Fitly in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
You end it by deleting your account. Fitly may end it, with notice where reasonable, if you break these terms or if the service is discontinued.
If these terms change materially, the effective date above changes and the app will tell you the next time you sign in. Continuing to use Fitly after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Fitly's operator is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in. Disputes go to the courts of that country, or of your own country where the law gives you that right.
